Tony improves communication. He’s helped public- and private-sector organisations transform the reports that flow up their hierarchies, shrinking Board packs by up to 80 per cent. He’s soothed mistrust between departments, evaporating strike threats. He coaches individual executives, resolving performance problems. And he helps businesses get closer to customers, in one case guiding a Big Four accountancy to a sales uplift of 175 per cent in 12 months.

He learned his skills during 15 years as a journalist and editor for publishers around the world – including the Sunday Times in London, the Toronto Star, the Rand Daily Mail, The Australian, and Reader’s Digest – and now works internationally for clients such as ABN-Amro bank, Accenture, Dell Computers, Freshfields and Shell.

He also writes an occasional column for Professional Consultancy magazine, lectures at London Business School, and is a guest speaker on business-winning for the Institute of Directors
