Our team
Michael Brewer
Consultant
Michael helps to devise and implement strategic marketing and communications programmes. Organisations, functions, teams – all can benefit from a clear understanding of their priorities and how they will be achieved. Sometimes the hardest management task is to say ‘no’ and stick to the plan! Michael works with clients to help them build that understanding and to pursue focused plans.
He is experienced in in-depth interviewing and in facilitating workshops to arrive at consensus and understanding. On assignment, he manages research and analysis of customers and markets, aligned to client strengths and weaknesses, then uses practical and strategic tools to prioritise opportunities and the resources needed to capitalise on them.
The ‘follow through’ comes in support to communicate the priorities and plans to employees so that viable ideas become profitable reality. Michael’s background is in strategy and planning consulting with financial services, public sector and CIT clients, including: AXA, The Department for Work & Pensions, RAC, Royal & SunAlliance, Norwich Union, Lloyds TSB and HBOS. He has an MBA from Manchester Business School.
